A Floral Solution began as a dream and with lots of hard work and perseverance it finally became a reality late in 2006.  I am the owner/operator Kelly Timmerman.

I would like to give you a bit of my floral background. I am a 4th generation florist in my family.  My Great Grandfather (Alwin Frache) was the Largest carnation grower in Western Canada.  My Grandfather (Warren Frache) was the proud owner of Warrens Flower's in Calgary, Alberta.  My Uncle (Al Frache) and my Mom (Sandra Staneland) soon followed the family's path in opening their own Businesses.  D'Annes Flower Boutique (closed 1998) and Al Fraches Flowers that is still successfully operating in Calgary, Alberta.

As a young child, I remember sleeping in flower boxes as my mom worked hard into the night for those special occasions like Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, etc.   When I got older, I became the 'gofer' girl, doing tasks like filling water tubes, putting picks on pine cones, watering plants, cleaning the cooler, etc. As I got more experience, I was able to do more and more.   When I was 12 years old, my mom sold my first flower arrangement.  I was so proud of myself!!

That was many years ago. I am now 35 with a wonderful husband, two terrific boys and a strong support network of family and friends who have all played a huge role in helping to orchestrate the opening of "A Floral Solution".
